Anua PDRN Serum Review: Hydration, Stickiness & Value

A practical look at Anua PDRN serum: what the reviewed texture reports show, where it fits in a routine, and when a two-bottle set makes sense.

Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum in its green 30ml dropper bottle

A green dropper bottle, a dewy finish, and a name that sounds rather scientific: Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum gives you plenty to be curious about. The reason we would consider it is much simpler—an extra layer of moisture before your cream.

We recommend trying one bottle if you want more hydration and enjoy a glow. If your current serum already leaves your skin comfortable, or you dislike any lingering tackiness, there is less reason to make room for this one.

A light texture can still leave a sticky finish

Hydration is the most inviting part of the shopper accounts we read. They describe smoothness, glow, and a serum that fits comfortably beneath makeup; one shopper liked it enough to finish a bottle. That makes it an appealing extra step when your skin feels short of moisture.

But a serum can spread easily and still leave something you notice afterwards. One Ulta shopper found it frequently sticky, while a Jolse reviewer described tackiness even after applying a barrier cream. If you love skincare that seems to disappear, that is a meaningful drawback.

The Jolse account also reported irritation, and another Ulta shopper reported acne after use. Start gently with one bottle rather than a large set, and stop using it if your skin becomes irritated.

A closer look at the 30ml dropper bottle.

What is behind the “Capsule 100” name?

First, it is a 30ml bottle; the “100” is not the bottle size. Anua uses “Smart Capsule 100” for its microcapsule delivery system. It does not mean the serum contains 100% PDRN.

The Korean listing discloses sodium DNA at 100ppm, which is 0.01%. The US ingredient list includes glycerin, hyaluronic-acid ingredients, niacinamide, and sodium DNA. Those are useful details to know, although a concentration alone cannot tell you how comfortable the whole formula will feel.

Anua describes its PDRN as salmon-derived, so this is not a vegan choice. The draw here is everyday moisture and a dewy finish.

Keep the rest of your routine familiar

Anua places a few drops before moisturizer, morning or evening. If you use toner, apply the serum afterwards; if you do not, it can follow cleansing. Pat it in gently, finish with your usual moisturizer, and keep sunscreen as your final morning skincare step.

You do not need several layers to get acquainted with it. Start with a small amount in an otherwise familiar routine so you can decide whether you enjoy the finish under your usual cream and makeup.

For a new skincare product, the American Academy of Dermatology recommends testing a normal amount on a small area of the inner arm or elbow twice daily for seven to ten days. If redness, itching, or swelling appears, wash it off and stop using it; get dermatology advice for a severe or persistent reaction.

The double set is tempting—after you know you like it

On October 15, 2026, Anua US listed one 30ml bottle at $28, and OLIVE YOUNG US listed its regular single bottle at $29. The OLIVE YOUNG Sanrio set contained two 30ml bottles and a pouch for $44.99 on sale, down from a listed $56.

At that sale price, the set worked out to about $22.50 a bottle. It cost $15.99 more upfront than the $29 single, saving about $6.50 per bottle if you used both. At the listed $56 set price, the saving versus two $29 singles was just $1 a bottle.

The Sanrio set pairs two 30ml bottles with a Cinnamoroll pouch.

For a repeat buyer, that sale is a useful comparison. For a first purchase, we would still choose one bottle: a cheaper second bottle is only a saving if you want to use it.

Anua Korea listed the single at ₩22,500 on sale, with ₩39,000 shown as the regular price. Its page listed ₩3,000 delivery below a ₩40,000 free-delivery threshold. These are dated item prices, before any additional taxes or delivery charges, not a comparison of the final cost to an overseas buyer.

Anua’s PDRN serum also sits in our monthly read of Olive Young Korea’s ranking (a single bottle with a refill in October 2026), and the K-Beauty Price Check keeps the Korea-vs-US price current.

Would we make space for it?

Yes, if you want an extra moisture layer, enjoy a dewy look, and are happy to try a new formula carefully. Our pick would be the single bottle first. It gives you room to discover whether the glow is worth the feel.

If you already love your hydrating serum, keep enjoying it. The PDRN name and a cute set do not give you a clear reason to replace a routine that works.
